Laudable Act

This is with regard to the letter in your previous issue, in which one brother asked for his money back. I really appreciate the work YMD is doing and it was laudable that YMD offered him his money back even with such tight resources.

Nonsensical Feedback

I was very sorry to read the letter of F. Bhat in your October 2007 issue of YMD. I am of the opinion that YMD should not waste its valuable space in publishing such worthless letters. The letter writers seem to be totally ignorant of Islamic values & ethics. Why to waste your energy, time and space to answer foolish and nonsense comments of such readers. I find most of the letter writers can seek answers to their queries from the local Imams, Aalims and other Muslim scholars but they intentionally occupy space in your magazine just to tease you and other readers. I, therefore, request you not to give any place in your esteemed magazine to such letters, instead publish some other articles which readers await eagerly to read in your magazine.

[On our part however, we welcome ex-pression of every opinion that is held about us. We believe br. Bhat has done the right thing by expressing his opinion, since criticism always leads to improvement: Editor].

‘Letters to the Editor’ a Must

I am subscribing to your esteemed magazine for the past four years. But after eagerly opening the November ’07 issue I was shocked to see my favourite ‘Letters to the Editor’ column missing. I think it is really troublesome for you to be answering to so many questions in detail (sometimes some letters are really disgusting). But please do not deprive us of a valuable column from which we learn so many things. As for me, I am a woman on whose paternal side there are strong Tableeghi connections, and in my in-laws’ family everyone is obsessed with going to the Dargahs and praying there. So I have had to be cautious in my married life (for the last eighteen years). I have also to be extra-cautious about my two sons’ religious lives, and it is your magazine that helps me in this struggle. As such, I once again request you not to discontinue the informative ‘Letters to the Editor’ column.

Harun Yahya Interview

I read with deep interest the aforementioned interview of YMD with Janab Harun Yahya. His detailed explanations on Darwinism and Creationism are very convincing and, in fact, the truth as per the Holy Qur'an.

Truth About 9/11

This is one topic (Truth about 9/11, YMD, Nov. 2007) I was always wondering why YMD doesn’t cover in its entirety! Thanks a zillion. I would need up to 500 copies of the November issue or as much as you are able to send on payment for the same.
